REMMERS

Expansion strategy
continued in Austria

Following the recent foundation of subsidiary companies in Switzerland and Slovakia, Remmers Gruppe AG is strengthening the presence in Austria now: Effective from November 01, 2018, the European premium supplier of products for wood and building protection has expanded the Austrian Remmers Ges. mbH by a second sales office in Wels. Austria‘s head office of the Remmers Ges. mbH still remains in Kramsach including the already well-known team of contact persons around the commercial manager, Sieglinde Laucher. „Due to the positive economic development in the country, we have decided to expand the sales organization in Austria. Moreover, the new sales office enables us to ensure fast and close-to-site product availability,“ states Ralf Theil, Remmers general manager of the independent subsidiary in Austria.

The staff at the new location in Wels is primarily involved in the building protection business unit. All of the employees are experts with experience in the industry and they know the Austrian market very well: sales manager, Helmut Grubmüller, was previously a key account manager in trading with building chemical products, with an emphasis on bitumen. The commercial management of the office is taken over by Arnold Pöschl, a graduate in business management, who contributes his experiences gained in corporate logistics and customer service. Christian Zika is working in field service and is responsible for the Upper Austria region. He also brings comprehensive professional experience to his role, because he had previously built up a reputation within the industry, among others, in the subject areas of waterproofing of buildings, floor coatings, and concrete repair.
