Family company turns 60
The family company of Paul Wolff celebrates its sixtieth anniversary in June. On Friday, 12 June, the manufacturer of waste containers and storage systems made of concrete and steel located on Monschauer Strasse 22 in the German city of Mönchengladbach receives the trade public; on Saturday, 13 June, at the same place, the company opens its doors to its in-house exhibition to the interested general public.
The company was established by Paul Wolff in Düsseldorf in the mid-1950s. In 1980, the company headquarters was moved to Mönchengladbach. The company manufactures concrete cabinets for storing residual waste, Green Dot materials, paper and organic waste. Among the company‘s innovations are the Rollator garage, an urn system and lockable parcel cabinets into which the postman can deposit parcels in the absence of the recipients.
Since 2014, Dr. Hanns Menzel, son of Dr. Hans Claus Menzel, is the sole managing director. Last year, the company with its workforce of 120 generated around 17 million euros.
