Myths about concrete and its substitutes

Fire behavior and environmental impacts of building materials are highly technical or scientific issues. But they are also marketing issues.

To promote their products, marketeers oversimplify since decades the content of their messages, they also play with the positive feeling people have for products of natural origin or used since many centuries. As long as this is done with respect for truth, there is no problem with such an approach, but once oversimplification disguises the truth, the myths appear.
