Photocatalysis in concrete terms

Manufacturers of concrete products have been working with photocatalytically active surfaces for a number of years. In collaboration with HeidelbergCement AG, a software tool for quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of such surfaces at a specific location was developed. In a model project conducted by the city of Stuttgart, Germany, the possible effectiveness of photocatalytically active surfaces was simulated on Hohenheimer Strasse in Stuttgart.
