Faster and more accurate design with Allplan Precast 2025

The construction industry is facing major challenges, making efficient design and construction more important than ever. Allplan‘s latest version, Allplan 2025, enables higher productivity through collaborative workflows, automated planning processes and innovative real-time collaboration. In particular, Allplan 2025 offers engineers and precast designers a variety of new features, which are summarized below.

Precast Data Validator: Minimize precast design errors

The enhanced Precast Data Validator is a key tool for minimizing errors in precast design and detailing. The Data Validator enables the production of high-quality, error-free precast concrete elements. This means that users can rely on the model for correct data for production. This in turn means minimal risk of production errors in the precast plant and accidents on the construction site.

Accurate weight calculation of precast concrete elements

For the first time, Allplan Precast 2025 now offers an exact weight calculation for precast elements. This new feature is a valuable addition to the previous approximate weight calculation of precast elements. The software calculates the net volume of concrete minus the weight of steel and fasteners. This is a great help, for example, when selecting the type of crane or determining the loading volume for trucks.

Easily compare precast elements

Allplan Precast 2025 now offers a new, fast, and clear function for comparing identical or similar precast elements. The software indicates whether precast elements are identical or not and how the elements differ from each other.

Convenient management of fixtures

Allplan Precast 2025 enables intuitive handling and management of fixtures. Highlights include the improved placement and modification with handles in the animation view, a local coordinate system for fixtures, PythonParts, precast walls and slabs, and formwork elements, an improved performance for automatically creating shadow areas for 2D sheets from 3D objects as well as user-defined associative dimension points.

Schöck manufacturer catalog: the latest installation components are available

Allplan 2025 also provides the new version of the Schöck manufacturer catalog v.1.0.12.2 by default. What are the advantages?

Direct access via web service: Users always have access to the latest product data in the form of PythonParts. These offer customizable levels of detail.

Greater flexibility and new attributes: The new features allow even better customization and offer an intelligent data structure.

Accelerated search function: Part numbers can now be processed even more efficiently.

Convenient handling of wall connections

Allplan Precast 2025 makes the planning of wall connections much easier. Simply select the desired walls and the software automatically displays the appropriate wall connections from your favorites.

Higher consistency

The new version of Allplan Precast is even more user-friendly and consistent. Precast elements can now be assigned to individual layers. This enables targeted display options in the views and sections. Fixtures can now be switched on and off for each layer in the shop drawings. Furthermore, mark numbering for precast and steel components has been optimized in Allplan 2025. Mark numbers for precast elements in MSA reinforcement groups are now available in all files.

Easy handling of any complex structure

The big theme in civil engineering for version 2025 is the ease of handling complex structures, which also brings many benefits to precast design. One of the numerous new features enables automatic reinforcement along free-form surfaces: instead of modeling each rebar individually, Allplan 2025 simply places the reinforcement automatically. This works for 3D free-form geometries as well as for slabs and walls. The result is significant time savings.

Allplan 2025 now also allows you to elegantly modify circular, spiral and surface reinforcements. The „what you see is what you get“ approach allows for faster work and helps to immediately identify and correct incorrect results. This makes it easy to intuitively modify the 3D reinforcement by directly modifying the object.

The numerous innovations in Allplan Precast 2025 enable precast designers to save a significant amount of time and achieve high quality results. The 2025 release and a free 14-day trial are available for download now at allplan.com
