How safe are sandwich anchors

background into the approval process

A valuation principle is part of every product approval. The European Assessment Document (EAD) describes the scope, the verification requirements, the test setup and the analysis of the results.

A number of test setups and their results are illustrated on the example of EAD on “Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastics (GFRP) connectors for use In sandwich and element walls made of concrete.”
