Precast elements: surprisingly different!

Every year in December I am always pleased to inform you - dear readers - about the publication of our yearbook. As little the surprise of the annual date of publication, the more surprising the contents of the book every year – not only for you, but also for us.

At the beginning of the year, we all met with our Editorial Advisory Board and discussed the potential topics for precast elements 2025. We had exciting projects in the pipeline. You will read about many of them in our current edition of the yearbook. Other contributions had to be postponed to the following editions owing to delays in construction. Other than what might be expected, this did not lead to a lack of content. New, inspirational projects continuously opened and were brought to our notice – so that selection was not easy.

As every year, we report on numerous projects of international relevance: the new Rhino Pagoda in the Berlin Zoo, the new Swiss observatory in Niedermuhlern and the Vertical Forest of Eindhoven deserve a special look. You can order the annual Yearbook Beton Bauteile 2025 (in German) at: www.beton-bauteile.de.

In our meeting with the Editorial Advisory Board regarding the choice of topics for the current issue of BFT International we faced similar challenges. So much worth reporting is happening in our sector of industry that the pages seem to fill themselves.
