Weber Betonwerk GmbH banks on Langendorf inloaders
Betonwerk Weber has stood for innovative products and excellent service for more than 70 years. The company’s diversified portfolio of high-quality precast concrete elements caters to the residential and commercial construction market. Betonwerk Weber banks on a modern vehicle fleet and high-tech inloaders from Langendorf.
The company Langendorf from Waltrop in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia is known as pioneer and market leader for inloaders. The company’s product family includes glass inloaders and double-deck vehicles, in addition to concrete inloaders. At the company’s headquarters, inloaders as well as dump semitrailers and low-bed trailers. Today as before, state-of-the-art vehicles of high quality are created in Waltrop as the result of continuous development and technological re-engineering. Apart from the high quality, customers value in particular the great variety of individual configuration options.
18th concrete inloader from Waltrop to Middle Franconia
At the Weber concrete plant, precast concrete elements are transported to their destinations on around 600 inloaders, enabling optimal and flexible construction-site and storage logistics.
Weber Betonwerk GmbH and Langendorf GmbH have been close partners since 2008. Just recently, the company Weber once more decided on a Langendorf concrete inloader. As a result, 18 vehicles from Waltrop are now part of the concrete plant’s vehicle fleet; two further concrete inloaders have already been ordered for next year. The Flatliner SB-15 inloader is used for transporting precast concrete elements and has an inner loading length of 9,500 mm. The innovative independent wheel suspension is able to achieve a loading height of 350 mm with loaded vehicle. The loading shaft has a width of 1,550 mm, which enables - in compliance with statutory provisions - an overall width of 2,550. The rear-wall gate of the flatliner is a left-mounted swivel gate that is hydraulically locked on the right. Six independent hydraulic bracing units ensure effective securing of the cargo. This bracing can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically and can be pushed in longitudinal direction onto angled rails and arrested there.
The distinctive color combination is a readily identifying feature of Betonwerk Weber vehicles. Most notable of the painting processes practiced at Langendorf is that the commercial vehicle surfaces, following sandblasting and priming, are once more ground. This imparts the vehicles with a unique design, and the special glow further adds to the impression made by the characteristic corporate colors. The entire Langendorf team is pleased with the success of the partnership of many years and wishes its customers at Betonwerk Weber enjoyable and safe journeys at all times.
