Langendorf

Good result for the financial year

The Langendorf group of companies reported total revenues of about 48 million euros for the financial year of 2014 to 2015, which is an increase of about 11 % compared to previous year.

The Langendorf group of companies comprises Langendorf GmbH generating the largest share with 41 million euros as well as Langendorf Trading GmbH, responsible for vehicle rental and trading with used vehicles, and Langendorf Service GmbH, responsible for repair, customized conversions and distribution of spare parts.

About 900 vehicles left the vehicle plant in Waltrop in the period from October 01, 2014 to September 30, 2015 – an increase of about 13 %. The export share has slightly dropped from 49 % to 45 % despite some major projects abroad. Among others, this is due to a decline in demand from Eastern Europe. “Thanks to the growth in Central Europe, we were able to increase the overall quantity significantly despite the weaker Eastern European markets,” stated Dr. Klaus P. Strautmann, General Manager of Langendorf GmbH.

The increase in production was realized with an almost unchanged number of employees. A total of 263 people had been working with Langendorf on average during the past financial year.
