After one year – owing to the Corona-related pause – the Innovation Prize of the Supplier Industry 2022 is once again awarded; here, for example, to the company Vollert Anlagenbau in February 2020 (Figure: BPB)
The Innovation Prize of the Supplier Industry for Concrete Components has been awarded annually at the BetonTage since 2002. Following the Corona-related pause this year, companies and research institutes of the engineering, software and supplier industry for concrete components can, as of now, apply for the next round. Prizes are awarded for exemplary products, processes and services that give the manufacturers of structural concrete components competitive advantages for rational, cost-efficient and individual building. Key selection criteria are the degree of innovation and the originality of the proposal, the relevance for the precast industry as well as the market and application potential.
Evaluated are new developments from the following sectors:
- Manufacturing technology / Product handling
- Machinery and plant engineering
- Reinforcement / Fixing technology
- Concrete technology
- Automation,
- Service
The innovations, at the time of submission, may not be older than two years. The copyright and/or right of use must be also be submitted. Interested companies are invited to submit their documentation by 30 November 2021.
The Prize is awarded by FBF Betondienst GmbH, the organizer of the BetonTage, jointly with the specialist journal BFT International Betonwerk + Fertigteil-Technik. The Prize will be presented on 22 February 2022 within the scope of the opening of the 66th BetonTage in the Congress Center in Ulm.
The still-incumbent award winners from 2020 are BPB Beton- und Prüftechnik Blomberg GmbH & Co. KG, Blomberg, for their eco granules for spreading as transport protection or as layer protection of patio slabs and flagstones and Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH from Weinsberg, which was honored for its Motus construction system, a newly developed, earthquake-resistant procedure for the production of prestressed hollow-core floor slabs.
