Primuss Robot at bauma 2010

Prinzing is proud to look back on a long company history and thus will display for the 29th time at the world’s largest exhibition for construction machinery in Munich. Sustainable developments are especially in demand, this means reducing the energy consumption, improving working conditions, optimizing the products, avoiding plastics, and of course increasing the efficiency considerably.

At the booth of Prinzing the Primuss robot with the associated manhole base sections will be showcased in action (Fig. 1). For the development and design of this machine it was necessary to search for and realize new ideas involving the following areas:

Manufacturing technology and process engineering

The rough casts of the base sections are manufactured with earth-moist concrete and a low water/cement ratio without channel and connections. After a short hardening period, the channel and connections are milled in one working step.
