Ha-Be celebrates its 40th anniversary

› Ha-Be Betonchemie GmbH & Co. KG celebrates its 40 years’ existence. The company that is today a manufacturer of admixtures for concrete, concrete colors and surface protection systems was originally established in May 1970 as a pure construction materials laboratory in Hameln/Germany. By now, Ha-Be, with several locations in Europe and the Middle East, has evolved into one of the major companies in the concrete chemistry industry worldwide.

At the time of its foundation, Ha-Be was primarily active in factory and quality control supervision in ready-mixed concrete plants. In 1983, the company’s performance range was extended by the production of concrete chemicals and established in the concrete market by one of the company’s founding fathers and managing directors of many years, Walter Meyer. After his death, Ulrich Meyer assumed the company management, later jointly with Georg Heidrich.
