Load-bearing architectural concrete façade –

A new office and commercial building was constructed directly adjacent to the Ohligsmühle suspended railway station in the city center of Wuppertal. Its concrete façade has a load-bearing function. One of the prominent features of the uniformly structured building envelope are its sculptural architectural concrete components with windows extending over the full story height. The façade pattern appears very vivid because of its asymmetrical precast components that create a constantly changing interplay of light and shadow.
