Precast Summit in Dubai
During recent years, the markets of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are among those with a strong demand for European knowhow. European manufacturers have in particular sold building materials and construction machinery and plants in significant volumes to the seven Emirates in the southeast of the Arabic peninsula. Although enthusiasm to invest in that region has currently clearly cooled as a result of the drop in oil prices, analysts nevertheless expect a growth of around 2.5 % for the current year 2017.
The UAE are making every effort to correct their one-sided orientation to oil and gas, and are in the process of diversifying their economies, with the same additional effort being made in the individual economic sectors. The market is entering a new development stage and it is therefore only logical that the organizers of the region’s most important construction show, The Big 5, are adapting their offerings. This year, on 26 and 27 November, together with BetonTage as conference partner, they are inviting participants for the first time to the Innovation in Precast Summit.
