Precast concrete elements for Monterrey Football Stadium

Opened in July 1950, Monterrey Stadium over the years has become a symbol of the national sports world, however the strength of the structure and the requirement to modernize, were the drivers that compelled the Federal Government to ­design and build the new stadium.

Stadium construction involved an investment of over 120 million Euros; resources for the construction and operation of the stadium were administered under the responsibility of the business group FEMSA. Other important players in this project were the architectural firm Populous responsible for the design; a company which has an experience of nearly 1,000 sports facilities built around the world in over 30 years of business.
