Year of anniversaries
Dear readers,
Our editor-in-chief Silvio Schade opened the last issue of BFT International with greetings that gave center place to the innovative strength and forward-looking orientation of our BFT and of the entire Bauverlag. In every issue of BFT, you read in the form of research reports, product presentations and project reports about the great creative spirit and the ability and passionate striving of our industry to unceasingly advance and to move along with the times and the demands of the market.
And, apart from our innovative strength, our industry is also particularly distinguished by its very special continuity. We – BFT International – for example, have already existed for 87 years. At this point, we would also like to congratulate our esteemed partners in the German-speaking region, who this year celebrate a “round” birthday: Avermann (in Osnabrück) celebrates its 75th anniversary; the BetonTage were held for the first time 65 years ago (this time as a digital event). Teka Maschinenbau (in Edenkoben) has already existed for 60 years; the Progress Group (in Brixen) was founded 60 years ago as well; and FDB (in Bonn) has been active for 50 years. Unitechnik (in Wiehl) also celebrates its 50th anniversary; Kniele GmbH (in Bad Buchau) celebrates its 30th birthday; and Elbe Decken (in Oranienbaum-Wörlitz) has existed for 25 years.
