Experience the benefits of formwork panel live at bauma
As a supplier of solid-plastic formwork panels, Alkus AG excels with firm price commitments and punctual delivery in times of wood shortage. At bauma 2022 in Munich, the company will demonstrate that the Alkus all-plastic panel is the more economical choice due to its durability, irrespective of the current price increase for wooden formwork panels.
The Liechtenstein-based company will use the 33rd edition of the world’s leading trade show for construction machinery and equipment from 24 to 30 October 2022 to put numerous illustrative items on display at its booth (Hall B3, Booth 213). In addition to cost effectiveness and sustainability, the focus will be on the resistance of the Alkus solid-plastic panel to various types of environmental impact. “The alkus panel is resistant to moisture, UV or solar radiation, formwork oil, extreme weather events and many other influences,” explains Michael Tschenett, Managing Director of Alkus AG. “These are just some of the reasons why it lasts longer than other common products on the market. At our booth, we will also be showing an Alkus all-plastic panel that has already gone through 1,500 use cycles in a normal construction site environment and will continue to perform well in further cycles without any problems whatsoever.”
Live demonstration: This is how the Alkus solid-plastic panel is processed
Another focus of Alkus AG at bauma is a live demonstration: At a centrally placed table, an Alkus technician will show how simply the solid-plastic panel can be processed. Interested attendees will also have the opportunity to try out some work steps themselves. “We will show that the Alkus solid-plastic panel can be nailed, screwed and sawn just as easily as wood and can also be repaired using the same plastic material,” says Michael Tschenett.
Alkus sealing cone for Peri-Maximo formwork
Latest developments from Alkus AG will also be on display at bauma, including the Alkus sealing cone. “Our panel fits into any frame,” explains Michael Tschenett. “However, the use of Alkus all-plastic formwork panels in Peri-Maximo formwork with single-sided anchoring is now even easier and more economical. The required sealing cones can be purchased inexpensively directly from alkus and installed and removed by the customer themselves.”
Alkus AL 11 solid-plastic panel for Hünnebeck Topec formwork
Yet Alkus AG has added another panel thickness to the standard range: the Alkus AL 11 all-plastic panel, which will also be on display at bauma 2022. The 11 mm thick variant with aluminum reinforcement was specially developed for optimal use in Hünnebeck’s Topec frames. However, it can also be used as part of other formwork systems. Alkus AG will be happy to provide advice and help you find the perfectly suited panel for any frame system. The AL 11 has been available from Alkus AG since August 2022 and, like the entire range, is a worthwhile investment for new and used formwork.
Alkus AG will also showcase a new product for custom formwork production at its booth in Munich: The Alkus SF Flex panel is available in thicknesses from 3 to 25 mm, and it excels with its extremely good workability.

The Alkus SF will hit center stage for the first time in the construction of a 40 m long tunnel for a cycle highway, which is being built as part of the 2023 Federal Horticulture Show in Mannheim. “The Alkus SF panel met all requirements to the complete satisfaction of our customer,” Michael Tschenett adds. “You can also see this product in a live demo at our booth.”
