Let’s look forward to bauma together!

This year’s BetonTage – Europe’s largest industrial congress with nearly 2,000 participants at the Ulm Congress Centrum – having just successfully ended, shortly before this issue of BFT went to print, as the next major event, bauma, is already set to open its doors.

As the international meeting point for its industrial sector, bauma offers not only the latest in technologies, but is also a platform for an exchange of professional expertise and discussion of key future topics. The world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment takes place from 7 to 13 April 2025 at the fairgrounds in Munich. An essential part of the program of accompanying events is its bauma Forum, which offers, from Monday to Friday, a wide range of lectures in the bauma LABO Innovation Hall. With organization by Messe München – in collaboration with VDMA Construction Machinery and Building Material Plants and VDMA Mining & Minerals – key topics will be examined at bauma from various perspectives during these five days. Experts will discuss current challenges and present technical developments.

The organizers look forward to more than 3,200 exhibitors who will present new machines, products and technologies on a total of 614,000 m² of exhibition space. They expect around 500,000 visitors from more than 200 countries. This year’s five key themes are: Climate Neutrality, Alternative Drive Concepts, Networked Building, Sustainability and Mining Challenge.

Your BFT team looks forward to many interesting conversations. We’ll see you in Munich!
