Elkon concrete plants arrive in Japan

Elkon, which is adding new countries to its export geography every day, has recently begun exporting its machinery to Japan, known as the land of technology. The Japanese company, which has over 600 employees and a 90-year history in the industry supplying cement, ready-mixed concrete, prestressed reinforced concrete products, concrete piles and a variety of construction materials, has chosen Elkon equipment for its new factory in the city of Fukushima.
As part of its protection against the release of radioactive materials in the area of the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident, the company decided to invest in a ready-mix concrete plant in the affected region and provide ready-mix concrete for these construction projects. The company preferred new concrete batching plants from Elkon, which is a trend-setter in its industry and produces with the latest technology.
After long discussions on technical details and technology exchange, the Japanese company chose the Elkomix-120 Quick Master, one of Elkon's compact concrete batching plants. The compact concrete plant Elkomix-120 Quick Master can be installed with its main unit on a completely flat surface. Thanks to the fact that this plant is equipped with a 4 x 30 m³ aggregate row silo, horizontal cement silos and a prefeeding system with pendulum conveyor, it offers the user the great advantage of easy installation, simple and cost-effective transport and low-cost maintenance.
There are also many other options in the concrete batching plant, such as an automatic high-pressure washing system in the mixer to ensure fast and effective cleaning, a monitoring system with 4 cameras placed at key points to monitor operation in detail, and a camera system in the twin-shaft mixer to monitor mix quality. As the plant is being built in an earthquake zone, the main structure of the concrete batching plant has been specially reinforced to withstand the earthquake loads of the particular region, and the entire plant has been designed according to Japanese standards.
Due to the travel ban imposed by Japan because of the pandemic, the concrete batching plant was installed and commissioned by the customer's own installation team with remote assistance from Elkon engineers. The Elkomix-120 Quick Master concrete batching plant, which was supplied modular and pre-installed by Elkon factories, could be installed very easily and quickly. Subsequently, the company, which immediately placed an order for a 2nd concrete batching plant due to its satisfaction, chose Elkon again for its other projects in Mongolia as well as in Japan.
