New sustainable white cement

Holcim White has further broadened its products port­folio. With CEM I 52,5 – quick and CEM I 52,5 – slow, the company had until now offered two white cements that differed primarily in their hardening kinetics. The company now supplements its portfolio by CEM II A-LL 52,5 N. This Portland limestone cement is of equally high quality and as easy to process as the two other binders. Its distinguishing feature is its ecological sustainability. Because less clinker is required for its production. the CO2 balance could be lowered by 10 %, compared to similar cements.
