Precast components instead of cast-in-situ concrete­

A year ago, the so-called “cage wall” system of Rapperstorfer Auto­mation was presented on the BetonTage congress held in Ulm, for the first time. The Innovation Prize for structural concrete products of the German supplier industry 2016; the Pegasus Award in Gold 2016; the Upper Austrian Prize for Innovation 2016 or the Austrian Cooperative Research Cooperation Prize 2015 – the list of awards won by Rapperstorfer Automation is quite impressive.

Now, the system is successfully operating at one of Austria’s largest manufacturers of precast concrete products, the MABA Fertigteilindustrie GmbH....
