Tönnissen invests in a new residue concrete wash-outsystem
Erich Tönnissen GmbH is a medium-sized construction company based in the city of Kleve in the Lower Rhine region of Germany. Since the company foundation more than 50 years ago, the responsibility has been in the hands of the Tönnissen family. The company‘s focus areas are in building construction, civil engineering, turnkey construction, and the precast concrete plant. At the end of 2017, the Tönnissen company took the decision to invest in a modern, high-performance and environmentally friendly Bibko residual concrete wash-out system of type ComTec 4.
New development ComTec 4
The ComTec 4 is one of the latest developments from Bibko and has been designed for precast concrete and ready-mixed concrete plants primarily. The compact design of the system saves space and provides plants with small quantities of residual concrete with the possibility of efficient recycling. The standard version of the system comes with an external bucket conveyor for dosing residual concrete occurring at floor level and wash water into the washing chamber in a controlled manner, thus excluding any overfilling of the system. The bucket conveyor can be fitted with a galvanized charging hopper of variable sizes or alternatively made of concrete by the customer.
In contrast to the more powerful ComTec wash-out systems of 10 to 40 m³, the material discharge of the ComTec 4 is equipped with an oscillating conveyor channel (including dewatering screen). This vibrating screen is provided with a special, highly wear-resistant screen lining which discharges the material washed out, while draining simultaneously. For this purpose, a steel agitator tank for above-ground installation was delivered together with an integrated, energy-efficient and powerful agitator as well as highly wear-resistant submersible pumps made by Bibko.
